A trauma-informed practice that understands the importance of creating a space that feels physically and emotionally safe.
Approaches

My approach
Safety. Compassion. Connection.
I work from an attachment-based, trauma-informed lens, providing compassion and sensitivity to my clients. I understand that an individual’s struggles may stem from deeper issues that need care and attention. Together, we will explore the parts of you that feel neglected or wounded, and find strategies for healing.
I am comfortable working with clients in both short- and long-term therapy. My commitment is to help you build self-awareness, understand your challenges in new ways, and most importantly, provide the space and strategies for healing.

IFS is a therapeutic approach that identifies different sub-personalities or "parts" within each person’s mental system. These parts develop different roles and can sometimes carry pain from past trauma, similar to the concept of an "inner child." IFS helps you get to know these parts in a compassionate way, while strengthening your connection to your core "self" (your grounded, adult self) to show up for these parts differently.

Coherence Therapy, previously known as deep oriented brief therapy, helps to reveal hidden beliefs that drive problematic behaviors, showing how problems actually make sense in the context of these beliefs. By gently bringing these unconscious ideas to light and using the brain's natural updating process (memory reconsolidation), it is possible for these deep rooted beliefs to change permanently, resulting in relief from the problematic behaviour.

Developed by Dr. Gabor Maté, CI helps individuals examine the unconscious stories and beliefs that shape their lives. The goal is to uncover where these stories came from and guide clients toward letting go of their hold.

CBT is a structured, time-limited approach that helps clients identify thinking patterns and physiological sensations connected to unhelpful behaviours. Clients learn how to challenge these patterns to bring about a positive behavioural shift.
